--------------------------------------

When/where did you start skiing/snowboarding? At three years old.
For how many years were you a bum? For how many years have you been pro? I was 13 years as an amateur, in the French team at 16, left at 20 and pro skier since the age of 20.
Where is your home mountain? My mountains are Les Portes du Soleil.
Who do you ride/ski with? I always ride with Jason Shutt and often with Lolo et Ludo, Mickael Deschenaux and the Morgins riders.
Who would you like to ride/ski with? I'm only really interested in the quality of the ride and the mountain. I've already ridden with all those I dreamed about.
Who are your sponsors? Volkl, Fire and Ice, Scott, Racer, Jansport, Gul and Châtel.
Who would you like to have as your sponsors? I would have liked a surfing sponsor so that I could have tried a bit of that stuff, but I'm very happy with my sponsors. They kick ass.
What's the fattest pay cheque you have ever taken home? A five figure check in francs… but I don't see that this should interest the taxman.
What are your five best competition results?

1st Slopestyle X Games 1999
2nd Slopestyle X Games 2000 (AUS)
1st Big Air Mondial du Ski New School (FRA)
2nd Big Air Ace on Snow (FIN)

What films/videos have you appeared in (naked or not)? IMAX film "Ski to the Max", a film promotion of Volkl 2000, an X Games video, a film 'Haute Route' on mountain sports and a video on the 'Crystal Awards'.
Describe your best day/trip/exhibition In mid-March 2000, I returned completely wiped-out after the IMAX shoot in the States, a Big Air in Japan and the Crystal Awards in St Moritz. I arrived in Chatel and slept for a whole week during which it snowed every day. I woke up with the sun and amazing wintry conditions right at the end of the season... it was awesome!!!
Describe your worst day/trip/exhibition On 16 July 2000 at Whistler, I cut my elbow with the edge of my skii. Damage? 38 stitches, a cut nerve, a six-hour operation, three weeks of summer camp at Whistler cancelled, one Heli Ski Challenge in New Zealand cancelled and half a surf trip to Hawaii and Australia cancelled.
What else turns your crank? Surfing, snowboarding in powder, music, reading, travelling and nature.
Is there anything left to do? After ten years of exploring the mountains, you have to move on to the oceans. But, the multinationals have to get together to do something about the pollution (fewer petrol cars, different packaging, recycling). It's frustrating to be so powerless against these people.
What are your five favourite CDs?

Bob Marley - 'Rastaman Vibration'
Wu Tang Clan - '36th Chamber'
Serge Gainsbourg - 'Aux Armes' etc
Portishead - 'Dummy'
DJ Krush - 'Milight'

Who do you admire?
(One rider and one other)
I admire all the skiers, snowboarders and surfers that I've met on my travels, all the riders that rip their waves or mountains, all the riders who are against all the business stuff, photos, competitions and sponsors - all those guys who ride for the pure passion and for themselves.
